Here¦s my vet talking, sorry about that You guys have it VERY easy. Back in the days, we only had shuttle, frigate, cruiser, batleship and industrial to fly in. We could fight NPCs, fight each other or mine asteroids and build stuff. We could use a couple of modules doing those 4 activities and that was IT. Now there¦s destroyers, battlecruisers, capitals and all sorts of T2 ships to fly in. You can still do the 4 old ones, but there¦s also exploration, salvaging, building your own POS or outpost and so on. You have a LOT more options than we did, it¦s just that YOU feel too small to make a difference. The truth is, you are not. Get over it!
your kind of missing the point here. Ok you only had 4 types of ships to fly in BUT YOU ALL HAD EQUAL SKILLS.
So you could go up against a BS with your BS, or Frigate with your Frigate, and the person you were fighting would not have a huge advantage over you.
A Vet in a drake vs a Noob in a drake has probably about a 250% advantage over the noob in skills alone (and this isnt inclyding the better fittings the vet will have access to). Baring 5v1 or the vet making a gigantic cok up - the vet will win everytime.
My advice to the OP is to join a player run corp where you corp mates can help you out and get you statred in pvp, negating your lack of skill points and making you half usefull

Nope - bacause the griefers would have 25% more armorm 25% mor damage 25% more hull 25% more cap better fittings etc. No equal footing

4/10 on the troll scale, OP, if you don't like it, there are plenty of "popular mmo's out there more suited to your tastes
Well, as I am someone who when running an alliance actively encouraged new players to get into pvp with limited skills, cheap ships, and no sec drops (to limit their future prospects), and no tax's to hurt their wallets, I feel im in as good a position (if not better) then any to comment on noobs in pvp

otherwise you wouldn't whine incessantly about how your advantage was taken away
don't get me wrong, the priv nerf hurt my wallet and forced me to make a real corp instead of being paid to scout in a npc one
I have never supported griefers having an advantage, and indeed have never been a griefer.

Well a lot of people think being denied access to 0.0 space, and being bubbled. insta webbed, and multi agressor popped when they have the temerity to venture into 0.0 space is being griefed.
Is fighting back at the people who engage in these practices griefing? Is every pirate a griefer? Is the man who undercuts your sell order by 0.01 isk every time you change it 'a griefer'. Is the man who sales his wares at a huge markup a griefer? Is the POS that wont let you in its sheilds a griefer?
Arguable - you are a griefer. As you specialised in doing whatever you could to counter one allaince. You passed on intel , you scouted, you stole loot. Are you a griefer?
